Know what's going on where you actually go

Most of what happens near you never makes the paper. You hear about it on Monday from somebody who went. Headed Out Local puts it in one place before it happens - live music, trivia, festivals, craft fairs, classes, whatever your towns are doing this week.

You choose the map, not an algorithm

Search the towns you actually go to and add them, or draw your own area on the map. Your feed covers that ground and nothing else.
